I bought this tool hoping it would help tighten the nut under the faucet. It's not very handy for that, although it's capable of holding the hose fitting nuts securely while tightening the nut. The recess in the handle allows it to be attached to pipes and hoses. It would be more beneficial to tighten hose nuts and other plumbing nuts when replacing faucets and other fittings. At a great price, a useful tool that is always at hand.
