I suspect the 5 star reviews are fake. This is the worst strap on Amazon. I've bought the cheapest reverse straps on Amazon which are bad, but this one is even worse. The band on the outside is fabric but not woven. The fabric is very rough/rough (similar to sandpaper/jute) and is glued to cardboard, or so much glue holding the layers together that it looks like cardboard. It is completely rigid and can be folded, leaving an indelible crease (woven tape does not). The clasp is made of thin plastic. The pins are thinner than the Fitbit pins and the tongue breaks off. (regular Fitbit pens will fit with some compression). Straps under $5 on Amazon are just as sturdy, lapel pins are just as cheap, many fleece. All other straps had real buckles, and the fabric, while rough and stiff, is much softer than this one. I don't care most of the shortcomings of the strap, it still looks good, but the plastic clasp is too cheap, falls off too easily. It's not worth the risk of breaking the Fitbit if the clasp breaks when I go outside.
