Got this for a 24" quad HD monitor and a 17" laptop. some gimmicks. The vertical angles in the arms are fixed, which wasn't clear to me. For example, the hand of a laptop can only ever be pointed downwards. Maybe I should have understood that, but I didn't. I figured I could raise and lower the monitor and laptop so I could sit or stand and type on the laptop while standing. It could probably work in some configurations, but since the laptop's arm is pointing down, I had to position it over the monitor's armrest, which means there's only about 4 inches of room left - not enough for standing height. I tried installing the laptop with the bracket located under the monitor arm facing up, but was unable to mount the laptop tray in the correct orientation that way. The tray should obviously be mounted on a downward arm. However, it is very durable and attractive and works well in the configuration I have for sitting. Depending on what you want to do this can be ideal, but the buyer must keep in mind that the main adjustment is in the horizontal angles between the arms and the parts of the arms.
