- UPDATE - I've changed this to 5 stars now. I've had these fog lights on my daily truck for 2 years now and I still have no complaints. So the headlights not only work, but also have a pretty good quality for a long time. -- ORIGINAL POST -- I also read the negative reviews. I don't know if it's because I find criticism healthy or if I just thought I'd end up with the crappy reviews that negative reviewers obviously get. Sometimes negativity is warranted. For example, if you see 100 reviews and 50 of them are negative, there must be something to it. I read the negative reviews before purchasing these LED headlights for my 2011 Silverado LTZ fog lights, although the overwhelming majority of reviews are positive at this point with an overall rating of 4.3 stars. When I read the reviews, people complained that these LEDs are not as focused as the OEM bulbs. These bulbs are not for fog lights, but for low beam. That these bulbs are too bright. That they just don't work for fog lamp applications. Let me tell you that I have had these exact same bulbs in my fog lights on my Silverado for a month now and they are AWESOME! I work a second shift so I drive at night every day and use these fog lights every day. Not once did another oncoming driver shine their headlights on me, not once did I feel like the fog lights were fuzzy or too low, and not once did I turn them on and regret not having an extra light had on the pavement while driving. before me. I even tried them just as fog lights (no low or high beams on) and compared them to OEM bulbs when they were shining on my garage door. They cast the exact same shadow and light pattern as the OEM (because the reflector does all the work) with the only difference being that they are brighter! Exactly what I wanted and hoped for. Also, the white light looks a lot better than the yellow cast of the old headlights. So if like me you read negative reviews, read them and know that these headlights work GREAT as fog lights. And remember, if for any reason you receive a defective pair (or one), just send them back! Revain supports you in this matter. (I may increase my star rating to 5 stars at some point in the future, but I purposely posted a 1-star review for those negative reviewers to read.)
