These bulbs are quite bright and have a good glow. But: 1) They are a long way from the declared 80 watts. 80 watt LED light would be much more powerful than that. I suspect the manufacturer is using the old 80w "equivalent lumens" trick. 2) Too much harsh visible violet light mixed with ultraviolet light (400nm). A good UV BLB fluorescent lamp produces much deeper ultraviolet light (about 360nm) without nearly as much visible light. Neon-colored objects glow under this light, but the effect is greatly reduced by all visible light. You will be disappointed with these lamps if you are used to fluorescent lighting. 3) They don't seem to cure the resin very well. This is probably due to the wavelength issue mentioned in #2.
