Won't protect you
Be careful they don't protect anything other than tipping over your bike. They do not protect you from falls and wear and tear. In two cases (when the elbow pads were worn correctly) the skin on the elbow was injured. The elbow pads couldn't protect me from the "road rash". In this case, the pads themselves were not damaged.
