These are the only coils we have found that fit our Viking 350 and they come in a handy case at a good price. So of course we recommend them. But we had to fix the bug before they really worked. The line wouldn't come off the spool because it got caught on a tiny ridge on the edge of the spool. Like the original Husqvarna coils, they are die-cast but poorly finished. The two halves of the mold don't fit perfectly, so the edge where you want the thread to slide off isn't smooth. The photo clearly shows the line where the two halves meet. The thread gets caught on the edge. The defect is easy to spot by running your fingernail over the edge of the spool. Most coils we received had two defects 180 degrees apart. We used an emery board and fine sandpaper to smooth out the roughness on the edges of the coils. To polish it even more, we rubbed it with a thin steel rod (the same one we use to sharpen knives). After that, these coils work great. Although this product has a defect due to careless workmanship, it is easy to fix. You can fix all 25 in one evening while watching TV. Then you'll love the convenience of having plenty of spools for whatever thread you're working with.
