The plastic case they came in was durable (I must not have read properly because I didn't expect the case at all), the coils fit perfect my old Husqvarna Viking. They are better than the ones I have used for many years because they have a tiny hole to thread the thread through to wind them up. The old ones didn't have that and I've been trying for ages to get the thread to catch and it tangles with the last leg of the bobbin thread. These are the only coils we have found that fit our Viking 350 and they come in a handy case at a good price. So of course we recommend them. But we had to fix the bug before they really worked. The line wouldn't come off the spool because it got caught on a tiny ridge on the edge of the spool. Like the original Husqvarna coils, they are die-cast but poorly finished. The two halves of the mold don't fit perfectly, so the edge where you want the thread to slide off isn't smooth. The photo…
