These stretchy and comfortable socks protect your toes from scratches in the pool. They have good non-slip soles but lack traction so are not suitable for more strenuous water sports. I wear a size 6 1/2-7 shoes and based on the reviews I ordered a medium size (7.5-8.5) but I think the small size might fit better. But they stay on their feet, so that's not a problem.
