I bought this to replace my outdated gas range in my kitchen which had become problematic for temperature control. I figured this would be a good short-term fix until we get a better gas stove. However, after using an induction cooker I am convinced: it heats up faster, regulates the temperature better, has better safety features like auto shut off, is easier to clean, uses less energy and produces higher rates. In fact, there are so many wins in this small division. Now I'm a convert. After that, it becomes difficult to accelerate again. My favorite feature is the firing temperature feature, which takes it to a whopping 525 degrees Fahrenheit. It really is a game changer, especially sous vide frying steaks. I especially love it. I also like that this model in particular isn't overloaded with features I'm not interested in, such as: B. pre-programmed meal settings that allow you to "set and forget”. Yes, it's a great idea, but it's not worth the extra $100 as I wouldn't use it very often, if at all. I would prefer this scaled down model which is dated from the current NuWave line. He does everything I ever wanted. If I had criticism, the buttons would be a bit difficult to use. You need to press them in a certain way and also remember to press the "Start" button after setting the time and temperature. It's basically a learning curve and doesn't change the rules of the game. So glad I bought this. Even if we get a new oven, I'll probably keep using it.
