These shoes are light and comfortable (with some modifications). They are breathable which is one of their best features. These aren't running shoes. I would not use them for long term athletic activities. The plastic that the laces are attached to will cut into your foot when you stand on the ball of your foot. They are incredibly painful. This is a really bad design, but you can cut and round off the bottom of the tip holder to prevent this. After that, they became decent shoes. I've had my current pair for about a year now and wear them to regular activities. Rubber treads crack long before they wear out (you can still see most of the tread). They're not durable, but at least they look and feel decent. They were comfortable with no changes. I think they just have poor quality control. I still think they don't deserve more than 3 stars but in the meantime I would probably order another pair if they are still available in the future.
