I consider myself an intermediate adult colorist (amateur, not an artist) but I have satisfied my curiosity about coloring by amassing a good collection of pencils including Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache Luminance, Prismacolor and Holbein. With that in mind, I've really enjoyed using these QiLi pencils and have just ordered a replacement set. They are very easy and effortless to apply. Gradients, fades and shading are smooth and simple. A quality pencil and a huge range of colors for a fairly low price (although you might want to check online to see if you can get them at the cheapest price).
