Worked Great - Accessories & Supplies

Worked Great for what we needed but only lasted a few weeks! Our home landline phone gets struck by lightning almost every time there is a thunderstorm near our house. . We've had quite a few lately, and if nobody's home to unplug the phone from the wall, our phone goes offline. I was tired of replacing our phone (wireless with answering machine) so I looked for a small surge protector with phone jacks (where the phone is, bandpass filters with all the outlets aren't what we need)). It fit the bill perfectly. We had a storm on Monday last week and didn't realize the surge protector was broken until Thursday (someone told us they tried to call on Wednesday but the line just kept ringing). After checking, the connectors in the surge protector withstood the shock and our phone was still safe and working properly. Part of the outlet is still working and protected, so we moved it to another location in the house. For those interested, that didn't stop us from using both outlets. We had/have this plugged into the bottom outlet and can still plug things into the top outlet. After spending less than $10 on one of these kicks, we ended up spending over $25 on a replacement phone!
