IT upgraded the NVMe drive in my laptop at work and gave me the old one. I chose this case and was satisfied. It looks like a well designed and well made product. The aluminum body is well made. The top and bottom fit together exactly and the small screws are of high quality. If you leave it plugged in, it will get noticeably warm after a while - which is good because it effectively transfers the same heat generated by the electronics to the case. The small kit included in the kit shows attention to detail. I searched all over my shop for a small 2.5mm Phillips screwdriver and then noticed they included one in the kit. There are 2 cables, a Type C to Type C and a Type C to Type A. The included thermal pad looks pretty nice and is pre-cut into small squares to place on your NVMe drive if needed. How does it work? Not bad. I use it on my Linux laptop (Lenovo W series) and there is no difference in "speed" between this and the built-in SSD. Reformat (it came from a Dell laptop and has a crazy amount of partitions) - then I get a more quantitative idea of performance.
