Package Details

I just bought the "3-speed" version. P/N Pass & Seymour - TV3LVKITWCC2 if you want to find it. I wanted 3+ 120v outlets to fit both FireTV and Google or other future dongles. The construction looks solid. This is a more complete set than I thought. The frame requires a 7 3/4 x 6 3/8 wall cutout, well marked with the built in template. This is an old style with 4 metal grommets, one in each corner. The kit includes frames, 1 x LV passthrough (with brushes), 1 x old single block work box, faceplates to cover the screws on the frame and 4 brackets needed to support up to 2 x LV passthroughs (there is none "old working framework" for LV) . So if you want a 2-way 120V socket, you need to buy another old work box. No big deal, it's just a plain old box that fits right into the frame. Each of the 3 cutouts in the frame can be either 120v or low voltage, but you will need an extra deep (5 1/2") wall space to accommodate a normal single unit in the center. You will also need to purchase 3 Decora faceplates to finish. Remember, you can't make the cutout flush with the rack; a one-piece box will protrude about 1 1/2 left/right out of the cutout (10 3/4" pistons with a single block on each side). And the depth with a single block is 3 7/8" so it just fits in the stud wall 2x4 I suppose you can always switch to flat single boxes to improve spacing if needed 4 stars until I get it installed have and works then I can upgrade to 5 if all goes well.
