First of all, these are beautiful. The price is fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how thick the posts would be, or rather, how thick the end of the posts would be. I've had earrings that have screw-on backs before, but usually they're still somewhat sharp. These have ends that are almost flat, and even a little dull. On my first and lowest ear piercing that is constantly used, these go in with no issues, and stay in with no issues. The main reason I purchased them though is for my second ear piercings; they have a habit of closing up if I don't keep earrings in. I thought these would be a good choice for that. However, because the ends of the post aren't sharp or pointed, I can't even get them through those holes. So that was a bit disappointing. Overall, 5 star rating because good quality at a good price. They just didn't suit my narrower second piercings.
