I have given up on the OEM Look Keo cases, they are made of a very stiff and inflexible material, difficult to put on and take off and almost impossible in cold weather. better than look but these kool cases are easy to put on and take off and much more flexible. No more wrestling with blankets when it's cold outside. They're thinner than the competition so might not last as long, but I get at least a season out of each pair, that's 5,000 miles. I do the bare minimum on foot, usually just a few steps during a lunch break. Look pedals are not designed for hiking, with or without covers. They come with a shower curtain hook to hang them on the bike and small tabs are drilled for hangers. I enlarged these holes a bit and used a small carabiner instead, there are no shower curtain hooks on my bike unless they are titanium.
