I am a nut for kitchen gadgets; should have had it when I saw it. However, you must empty it or your coaster collection will smell over time. It's fun and easy to use. To date I have no complaints. It works as intended and is a great conversation starter. It's convenient to open a beer on the terrace or by the pool. Because it's plastic, guests can drop it or knock it off the table without worrying about breaking it. Even though it's made of plastic, it looks just as good as glass. If you open a bottle of imported beer when the paper label covers the cap, either fold back the paper or make sure the cap grabs the cap through the paper the first time, or you will have to try again. The delivery was earlier than expected and it was in the mailbox a few days before I picked it up.
