Works, not my favorite method
This is normal. I can appreciate the physics of the design, but I'd rather have some 3M broom hooks. Sometimes when my kids get too close, it knocks. I think it has to do with the weight of the object holding the gimbal. Most often, light objects (shoulder blades of children) fall.
