After a month of use I realized that my negative review after a few days was premature and unfair. I'm new to humidifiers and had unrealistic expectations. I've bought 4 different brands/models in the $60-$100 range and this one is my favorite. Mainly because of its enormous power. 600 ml per hour! That's twice as much as any other I've viewed or bought. No matter how fancy, expensive or multifunctional they are, they all have a maximum volume of 280-300 ml. And that is the most important feature when choosing. Second, always too full! I tried watering the floor and it was a huge messy pain. 3rd place - water tank. Get as much as you can so you don't keep refilling it. It's the minimum I'd buy, 5.5L, and I fill it up once a day when I'm running at high power for 24 hours. it's a big digital display. I like to see his levels in the dark or from a distance. I also like the sleek, modern design because it's in an elegant space. It looks like a fancy expensive device. I highly recommend it. I was amazed that even the 7.5 liter tower humidifiers that sell for $120-$160 still have HALF less mist output than this one, this one is best for large areas like your main building at home. Mine is in my big room and covers about 600 square meters. Not suitable for a bedroom as it is noisy. And in a 12x13 room you don't need a powerful amp anyway. If you have a large bedroom and sleep with the TV or music on, you can use this. If your bedroom is medium sized, buy tbi pro 6L Top Fill Amazon. That is what is in our 12 x 13 bedroom, the maximum output is 300ml per hour at altitude but it is enough for a 12 x 13 room. Last but not least! Make sure you take out the bucket of water and clean underneath every 2 weeks and always use filtered water in any humidifier. If it ever starts making more noise than usual, don't panic, it's just dirty. Clean it well with Clorox water. If you ever run out of water completely, take the bucket and pour enough water into the base to raise the float, then refill the bucket. This will prevent it from sounding like a tractor and wriggling when restarted.
