Review on “Permatex 81730 1.5 oz. Flowable Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer” by Jeff Jordan

I was about to take my car to a shop and was willing to pay good money to fix a leak. but due to the fact that there was a little rust around the glass of the body, the masters refused to touch it! They wanted to replace the entire roof! In any case, after some research, I decided on this material. . First I did everything I could to deal with the rust. a little sanding and Por15 around the worst spots. Let it dry overnight and then use 2 tubes of this stuff around my windshield. It's been a few weeks and my car is still dry inside. I had to remove the window trim to apply the sealant to the glass, but you can't even see it with the trim in place. Probably the coating that covers it helps it last a long time. If you have severe leaks, I advise you to put some plastic or cardboard inside in case this ultra-low viscosity silicone drips inside. Mine leaked, but at least I know it sealed leaks everywhere.
