TL;DR. Prismacolors are as great crayons as any, but it's ONE crayon, not a pack of 12. (3363)"Without any conflicting information in the text to suggest that this is NOT A PACK OF TWELVE crayons. This is ONE pencil, said to come with 12 in a pack. Such a misleading description is extremely unprofessional and very frustrating. Apart from My issues With the seller, the pencil is a typical wax colored pencil. Excellent for creating rich marks of varying opacity and darkness. Can achieve a much darker shade than graphite pencils, does not rub or smudge like charcoal/graphite. Core is inherently brittle. I I recommend, from personal experience, HAND SHARPENING VERY CAREFULLY I have never found a pencil sharpener (electric or otherwise) to reliably sharpen crayons without breaking them regularly.
