It was very easy to install. I was apprehensive about opening the watch, but I watched a few YouTube videos and that in and of itself was easy. This extended the life of my Samsung Gear Fit 2 by about six months. Because it only worked at that time. I have not used my watch in water (swimming) since I changed the connectors and installed this part. Maybe it should last 6 months, maybe my sweat is gnawing at it because it won't charge my watch now and I'm debating whether to buy it again or toss the watch and get another one. It worked well and I would recommend just trying it out at least the first time to see if it's worth it again for me.
