Review on Pendant 6 Light Weathered Chandelier Adjustable by Kimoni Parson

The exit is terrible.

Terrible workmanship. It seems that after being painted white and lightly scraped off with the typical scuffs and scratches (which I would expect) it was "splattered" with those horrible pinkish-brown paint splatters all over it. This is just terrible. There was a powdery residue of white paint on your hands after handling it and my skin and face/mouth itched/burned badly during assembly and installation. I suspect the color irritated my skin. Also, it's made of MDF or something similar. Maybe I missed it in the description but I thought it was solid wood when I bought it. I have to go back and see it. The anger reveals the underlying raw material "cardboard". Obviously not high quality material. Luckily, you'll only notice the bad "polka dot" coloring if you're within 4 feet of a light fixture. I mean, I can see him from across the room, but I know he's there, so. I would have returned it if my husband hadn't taken the initiative to assemble and install it for me without even bothering him with it. Wives and husbands, you know what I mean! So I plan on chalking it off-white at some point to make it look better. Pros: The design is beautiful, I like looking at it from across the room, my husband didn't mention or complain about a bad paint job, it seems solid enough and there are no missing or broken parts. Although a couple of the arms were a little crooked and needed to be bent a bit and put back in place and some are praying for them to be straightened. It was also fairly easy to assemble and install, but would require a second pair of hands. So make sure you have an assistant or make sure you are an assistant. Wink. I wouldn't buy this again. I don't recommend you buy it if you don't mind, maybe paint it a little. And if you have anything like a mind, then you want it. I hope the attached photos are helpful.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Long wait
