The dog didn't even really pull the leash but pushed some people towards it and the clip just broke. This was made by my small dog (70lb German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix). Luckily the people he ran to took it very easy and even offered me a leash to help him get home. I was skeptical when I saw these lines attached to us because I saw other people had problems with them coming loose. I like the lines themselves. They have a great feel but I wouldn't trust the clip. I have two dogs, I bought a leash for both of them. I ended up just taking bolt cutters and cutting off the clips, and then I went to Ace Hardware and bought a carabiner and clip and put them in the end of the leash. Now it is reliable and ready to use.
