I sniffed the shoes before opening the package. Strong chemical smell. The material was very thin and the shoes were poorly made. I ordered a light gray and received a dark gray almost black. They tried to quell the smell but nothing helped. Never happened to me, but I threw them in the trash. I got what I paid for - cheap, poorly assembled shoes that smelled so bad I just threw them in the trash where they were. Stick to well-known brands from now on.
