that I already replaced. The base used a plastic screw to hold everything in place and metal is ABSOLUTELY difficult to bend! Can't stress this enough? how serious this is funny. I've never been able to bend mine without the base slipping off the table (when tightened as tight as possible without damaging the plastic screw and nut). When a specific shape of the metal arm was needed, I had to detach the end and take it off the table and set it on the dresser and let it hang, then hold it horizontally with one hand and bend it with the other hand. Once I got the shape I wanted, the hand wasn't strong enough to hold my 10 inch tablet, it fell off the table about every hour of use. I had to get out of bed SO MANY TIMES to put it back on. I had no idea how much better the previous one was until I got this one. Please consider buying one with metal base screw and handle and bracket, there are so many. my new one is holding up well. 2 months so far and never fell off.
