A great G-Shock watch is not a smart watch

I bought this G-Shock after feeling overwhelmed by receiving the same notifications on multiple devices (Apple). This G-Shock was almost exactly what I mean when I think of a classic and functional design, it's minimal, efficient and reliable. If that's what you're looking for, look no further. Pros: There is good potential depending on how you dress, you will never feel the need to take this watch off. This watch works anytime, anywhere, in any conditions - water, soap, dirt, sweat, salt water, anything you can imagine - you just live your life and this watch will be just like the first day you understood it to have. Cons: Based on the 42mm Apple Watch Series 3, the "downgrade" accumulates over time. After a month or two I started missing pinging my phone, controlling Spotify or getting certain notifications e.g. B. Who is calling or sending an SMS. If you pick up a second Apple Watch charger - and you're in the office, at home, etc. - then it's obviously difficult to go without a smartwatch. I still have my G-Shock, only cons from a 25 year old perspective: The G-Shock buttons are slightly concave and don't touch. They can be difficult to press on - if you have large hands or thumbs I would consider a different model. The buttons of this model are well stylized, but the screen itself is not always visible. So if you need to press the light button to display the time, it will be more inconvenient to press the buttons more often. Solid 4+/5 just depends on what you're looking for. Without a doubt, this is a great option for road trips, travel, and for people who work outdoors or in extreme conditions. Hey, you don't have to charge your watch!
