Comparable to Hario coffee siphon heater

Works just as well as a Hario halogen heater. The real difference is that Hario takes about 2 minutes to pour water into the top of the coffee siphon, while it takes about 4-5 minutes with pre-boiled water. This is more than enough for home use or for a separate slowbar. to operate a 5 cup siphon without the use of an alcohol or butane torch. I have brewed about 100 siphon pots and am very satisfied. I have recommended this to several friends and they feel the same way.
