My testing has shown that this BingFu extender outperforms the Nagoya NA-810 at UHF. much better; significantly better. However, on VHF the Nagoya 810 is slightly better than the truncated BingFul. with an emphasis on the word "a little". The difference between them on VHF is very difficult to measure as they are very close in performance. Another point to look out for is the build quality. Short BingFu wins this category by a wide margin. BingFu found an adhesive that not only bonds the base of the antenna to the cover, but also the coils. To learn BingFu I had to completely destroy the antenna to take it apart while the Nagoya cover detaches effortlessly.
