We have a 5 lb Yorkie/Chuahua mix. It fits him perfectly and comes with 2 batteries. He's a little stocky, but he's tiny. Good quality collar. Our dogs bark so piercingly that it hurts your ears and you can't even speak when he starts. He would even bite if you tried to hold him while he was going mad (like the person at the door). No longer! We use the collar in combination with training and rewards (treats for following the command to stop barking). Now he pays attention to verbal commands (no barking, shh). We thank him for the initial warning (like delivering a package), but then we tell him "shh" or "don't bark" and he stops! He'll whine a bit because he wants to bark himself to death, but he's very good at controlling himself. It was particularly bad when we had guests, but he did a great job. Now we can just show him the collar and he will calm down. It only took 2 days to go from alert tones to vibration (no shock and we're running at 4 out of 7). It didn't work properly a couple of times, but had no problems. We only put it on him when he is being supervised and when he is barking for a long time. I can't put into words how grateful we are that it really worked!
