Hub works great and looks fantastic. It is well constructed from heavy metal with a very nice finish. The only problem is that when the cap is removed it doesn't stay securely in the hole as the cap has a good secure fit and the force to remove the cap is greater than the force to pull the entire bushing out of the hole. Perhaps the answer would be a slightly smaller hole, as there are what I would call metal ribs under the lip that could secure the sleeve if the hole were a little smaller. I have built several desktop computers for our new home for computer use. My wife doesn't like the wires so she asked me to do something to hide the wires. I built a wire groove under the table to hold the wires and used these bushings to tangle the wires. They worked great. I bought a Lennox 2 1/2" hole saw from Lowe's to make holes. I found that making a hole that size can be difficult because the hole saw wants to vibrate and crack my new countertop, so I pre-drilled the hole in a piece of wood and attached it to my workbench in the desired location to mount the jack and suffered less damage as a result.I've used about 5 of these on my desktops and haven't hesitated to order them again Good ones Quality and excellent finish and finish.
