NOT stainless steel!
They are actually only copper plated to look like stainless steel I was very disappointed when I heard about this as I accidentally sanded one off and saw a lovely shade of orange underneath as I have already made a few pieces with it had them and are passing them on to friends who think they are rust free and now I hope no one is allergic to copper, overall very disappointed and will return them asap
