I ordered these tools for my vinyl work. I make a lot of intricate cuts that leave a lot of very small pieces to weed out. I typically use my weeder for anything ¼ inch or larger, but when the pieces get smaller I use a sewing needle. This set seemed like a great opportunity to try a new tool and see if I could find something more comfortable to grip than a sewing needle. They're much more convenient to use and hold, but aren't always the best choice. The felt swabs in this set are decent quality, not the best I've tried but not bad. The fabric cover of the base is not soft enough and thin for my taste. I expect it to wear down with use, exposing the underlying plastic. On the other hand, the fabric is very well bonded to the plastic. I have already bought much more expensive felt mops, where the cloth came off after the first few uses. Weed pullers are basically a needle tip attached to a handle. It's a great concept and a lot easier to get your hands on. The downside is that the body of the pen is much larger than the head of the needle. Depending on how small the details you're weeding, it can be difficult to see what you're doing without uncomfortably distorting your hand and wrist. Overall, I would recommend these tools as a great budget tool. Option for weeding parts and scrapers. They are of decent quality at an affordable price.
