Suddenly my Shark V500 lost suction power. When I took out the wand and put my hand over the hole, the suction was perfect. I looked at the wand and hose and there was no blockage. I've tried to see if the hose has a crack or a hole but found nothing. Of course, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. So I ordered this replacement hose knowing that if it didn't work I could return it. Well it took me seconds to swap out the old hose and attach this one. It clicked perfectly into place and as soon as I turned the vacuum on, the suction was back! I'm so happy! I thought I would have to buy a new vacuum cleaner. In fact, out of frustration, I threw it in the trash the day it died on me. Cooling down, I took it out and decided to do a little research. I'm so glad I did!
