I really wanted it to work.

The problem, as others have pointed out, is the quality of the hose connections. Yes, you'll have to get creative with the connection as it doesn't come with a standard hose bib. However, my problem is that the compression fittings are cheap plastic and both plastic ferrules are cracked. I only managed to wash my car twice. The wand itself works pretty well, cleans the car quickly.
