Fixed huge latency issue

My gaming PC came with what I think is a decent wireless card. Until I started getting really big latency issues. The problems occurred when playing games and any kind of streaming from my main computer running Plex. It made no sense how much I invested in my home WiFi. Running two UAP-AC-Pros over CAT6 to UniFi Switch 24, Ubiquiti ERPoe-5 Edgerouter and finally to fiber from my ISP. I would continue to connect CAT6 to the computer, but the location of my server room made it difficult to do so and hide the cable. And even then, it shouldn't matter if the access point can reach speeds of up to 1300Mbps at 5GHz. After troubleshooting, I found that my wireless card's 5GHz band was poor. So I decided to make the switch and I couldn't be happier. They performed even better than I expected. The magnetic base is very handy and makes dressing up easier if you want to attach it to a table or some kind of stand. My latency went from 25-30ms and lots of random latency spikes to 16ms and no more latency spikes. I understand that 25-30ms is great and that was until I started falling behind (always during a key goal in the game) and missing a few seconds of the action due to the surge. I would agree that the lag spikes are gone, but lowering my ping and getting rid of the spikes made it a home run for me. I can't say that this will lower your ping 100% as it depends on the game you are playing, where the server is located and of course your ISP and the UP/DOWN speed they give you. But if your wireless card is giving you trouble and you need an excuse to upgrade, you'll love this.
