So this remote is very affordable and does the job perfectly. If you are a beginner or novice paintball player then this reel is definitely for you. There were a few other reviews on this item that said there were no installation instructions. Well they are right but if you can't figure out which side is male and which side is female then you need to go back to school. Why I gave this item a three star rating, the quick shut off is good but it doesn't prevent the escape of any air that may still be in the tank and if you're playing off the field this can be a costly problem. . The valve that is fitted to your tank is designed to reduce the flow of air from the tank to your ace and if you are using CO2 this is a minor issue as the CO2 is stored in liquid form and has to go through a phase change to a gas. . So if the CO2 tank is on the valve, it doesn't do anything for you. The reel itself or the hose connecting the two ends is solid and didn't have any kinking issues during my activity. I'm 6ft 6" tall and when I stand to shoot there is a little tension when I hold the marker. Any other position I'm in is fine, and while I'm running in the woods it maintains its compact coil shape. Overall I think it's a good buy for a beginner but I'm not sure if I should detach or open and close the valve so I gave it a three star rating. Hope this review helps, happy hunting!
