I have used many 4 and 8 strand J-braid line and never had a problem. In the winter I fish about four times a week in Southwest Florida. I mostly bottom fish for snapper and sea bass and sometimes hook big fish. I don't recall ever tearing or tearing a J-braid. As long as the price stays affordable I will continue to buy it.

J Grand Braid offers more distance than most premium brands (equivalent to Berkley X9) with less maintenance and longer durability. This braided line is great and casts well. Super fine 8-strand braided line that is non-abrasive in structured water and gets the job done elsewhere. However, when you pull back on that line to retrieve your catch, keep your fingers off the line holding the reel.
