A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

With its pros. A full-fledged microcomputer with Ethernet, WiFI, BT, USB, gigabytes of RAM, relatively low power consumption. Cons: Like all Raspberries: no clock, no built-in flash memory. Well, lately - this is a completely unacceptable price, which kills the whole point of using such devices.

    Works great on Pi 3

Bought for Pi 3 in a plastic case. I've been using it for a few weeks now and under load the temperature is fine. They come loose and stick, so I'm really worried about the hot melt holding over time. Besides, they work. If adhesion becomes an issue I just buy some thermal epoxy for a permanent bond.

Tried as a solution to RPI 4 heating problem

My new RPI 4 gets hot at idle and gets very hot. I tried these heatsinks as a solution to overheating and throttling. The radiators were easy to install and significantly reduced the standby temperature. They weren't enough to fix the RPi 4 overheating issue. I removed them and installed Pimoroni's Fan Shim and that seems to be the solution for me. The product is well made, arrived on time and works. Just not good enough for me.

    Good quality and performance heatsinks

The pi3 pack I bought already had a few heatsinks, so why did I buy the LoveRPi kit? I was hoping for better performance - and I wasn't disappointed. These heatsinks are larger than the ones in the kit I bought (more surface area = better thermal performance). They have 3M thermal tape with good adhesion and good heat dissipation (radiators are hot to the touch meaning the tape transfers heat well). This is a great buy for those who want better thermal performance than the tiny heatsinks that…

LoveRPi always have great products, fast shipping

Only one of the smaller heatsinks broke which means the tape was applied incorrectly and got tangled in the bag when it got to me. It's ok, LoveRPi always has great products, fast shipping! 5 stars again for another great LoveRPi product! If you buy these for your Raspberry Pi (like most of you do), don't forget to grab the power button as well. Makes life so much easier without having to unplug your Pi every time you're done with it.

    Cons
    • Minor issues

I have a Pi 3b+ with OctoPi for my 3D printer. The room it's in doesn't have much AC, so it's often 70's to mid-80's. When I start printing and streaming the webcam video I'm using to monitor at 720p at 20 fps, I occasionally exceed the CPU temp, causing throttling. I'm sure it's better with a radiator than without. and in a room with better airflow or air conditioning, you could probably get by with just radiators, even under moderately heavy use. In my case I also grabbed a 30mm fan just to…

    No documentation: internals

I received this Seagate Barracuda hard drive this afternoon and (hopefully) installed it with no problems. Apart from the limited warranty (about 3 paragraphs) in different languages, there was no installation documentation. It would be nice to know if it needs to be installed in a certain direction or not. If this question were answered I would increase the number of stars in my rating.

Not enough to overclock RPi 3

For RPi 3B/3B+ they offer a bit of cooling to keep temps under 80C but I would recommend a better heatsink for overclocking. I love and recommend the Kintaro Heatsink for Raspberry Pi. I actually bought it for a class D amp, not a Raspberry Pi. I use a 24V DC power supply instead of the included 12V DC power supply , so I wanted to cool the chip down a bit. In general I am satisfied.

They are no better than the heatsinks supplied by Canakit.

Virtually no difference in SoC temperature with this heatsink than the original Canakit heatsink. This SoC heatsink is taller than Canakit's heatsink. I calculated the surface area of the fins for both heatsink types. The fin area of the SoC Canakit is 784 square meters. mm. The cooling fin area of the SoC is 1120 square meters. mm. This cooler has 5 fins while the Canakit cooler has 7 fins. I have an upward blowing cupcake fan that sits on top of the case with no lid. Maybe thermal tape on a…

Great little heatsinks to cool down your gaming

I ordered these heatsinks for my Raspberry Pi 3. They easily stick to the SOC chips they are supposed to cool. And I tested them playing on my Pi 3. Before I got the temperature warning when loading certain games in RetroPie, I checked out the heatsinks. I run the Pi in the Pi Foundation's standard plastic Pi case, which costs $8, so it doesn't have fans. These radiators have not given me any problems. After 30 minutes of continuous playing nasty games that caused the Pi to overheat, it will no
