I think it was a refurbished laptop although I filtered out a brand new one. The charger battery got so hot it was almost scary. I've never fooled it for more than 30 minutes at a time because in addition to the charger overheating, the laptop underneath also booted up. I noticed that the first time I charged it. My last drop, I had a pre-exam webinar I had to attend in my state and it was the most choppy video ever (I have screenshots and video evidence). I didn't understand anything and didn't have time, and all the other students and the teacher said that everything was fine with them. Please note that I had to pay for this webinar. I was mad. I then took my daughter's Acer Chromebook, which she was using for virtual study, and the video was clear and smooth. Never again.
