Review on 🔪 DMT Diafold Sharpener - Extra Fine Grit for Enhanced Precision by Scott Gamache

This is a compact, handy and well made tool. I've argued about giving it 4 stars because the grip material feels flimsy and maybe a bit brittle, but so far it's holding up great and all in all takes up very little space. I also have several Smith diamond sharpeners and DMT outperforms them all. The foldable design protects the surface when closed and provides a grip when open. Tip: When using this sharpening stone as a regular sharpening stone, lean the other end of the sharpener against the countertop. Just add water or use dry - everything else will hold it together. Although this tilts the stone, it stabilizes the stone and provides a reliable sharpening angle and finish. I've sharpened a whole collection of knives and even gotten a really good edge on some scissors I reviewed when I first scissored. Beware of sharp tools! This is one of those tools that I would buy again to have a backup. MADE IN THE USA.
