The camera is as good as fake cameras; I don't know what the thieves are doing, but having it appear to work should help. Lighting from fake infrared LEDs is awesome for saving battery power (I haven't seen a better and smarter implementation). The reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because you are reading this and will find that you will need to purchase your own mounting screws. I bought two cameras and from 6 fastening screws, as long as only two did not destroy themselves when inserted into the pre-drilled holes, the rest unscrewed during installation. The standard bolts that come with the kit are the softest bolt material I've tried, maybe even plastic, so bring your own; you will need them. In my opinion it would be better if the camera didn't have a name on the outside or a real name because if thieves get to a place where they know the brand names that fake cameras are using, they'll know they're fake. I have real cameras.
