Review on ASUS XONAR SE 5.1 Channel 🔊 Hi-Res Sound Card with Windows 10 Compatibility by Nathan Issa

God I am blown away by the crisp, clear and rich sound this card produces. Unbelievable! It's like listening to music and playing games for the first time! I hear things in the games I play every day that I didn't even know existed. The Xonar headphone driver is adjustable to 300 ohms and believe me it's loud. I've been using FxSound for sound amplification for a number of years, but to be honest the sound coming out of the Xonar's headphone jack is way too loud. I do not need it anymore. I never thought I would say that! ASUS Xonar is SO good! 9.5/10, the only downside is that there are TOO MANY options in the Xonar software package to customize your listening experience. However, this is not really a negative. The card was installed on the first try. I took a previous user's advice and uninstalled ALL the sound drivers that came with Windows 10 x64* before installing the Xonar drivers. No problem. * This included Microsoft and Nvidia drivers. All were automatically reinstalled after restarting the computer.
