I bought this light for my 2009 Yamaha Vstar 650. This is my first road bike so I don't know much about motorcycle lights but I was looking for something other than the standard halogen light I have. I've been used to nothing but LED or HID on all my machines for years. I didn't want to rob a bank so I found her and looked good enough. It was very easy to install, no extra parts or anything, it came with seat belts but I didn't need them. Once you have a good aim, this is a great light. I'm sure expensive bulbs have a slightly better beam pattern and brightness, but that's more than enough, especially for this price range. The lid isn't glass, but I'm sure that won't be a problem. I look forward to riding more and showing that great light on my bike.
