Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Enhance Your Apple Pencil Drawing Experience with TechMatte Apple Pencil Tip Cover (8-Pack, Clear) by Glenn Cartwright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly. natural feeling. MUCH quieter. And very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I use my Apple Pencil primarily to take notes and draw charts and graphs on my 11 inch iPad Pro. I really didn't like writing on an iPad without a screen protector or with a standard glass screen protector as the lack of friction makes the stylus difficult to control and click. I tried a paper-like screen protector, which improved writing quality, but slightly reduced screen sharpness quality, less vivid colors. It's not a big deal, but one of the reasons I paid extra for an iPro over a regular iPad was the nicer display. I just couldn't get past it, so I removed the paper screen cover. Check out these Apple Pencil silicone tips on the iPad Students and Teachers YouTube channel. I bought several and was very happy with them. The iPad feels more natural. Second, they eliminate the Apple Pencil clicking sound because the silicone case is soft. Third, they absolutely do not affect the accuracy of the Apple Pencil. If so I would give them a 1 star rating. But Apple Pencil is 100% accurate with these tip caps. Some reviewers say that the tip caps are not durable, that they wear out and then need to be replaced. That's true, but it depends on how hard you press while writing/drawing. As for me, I can easily get 2 weeks and usually more than 4 weeks for tips, so a set of 5 will last 3-5 months. YMMV. If you are unsure whether to buy these or paper-like screen covers, I would suggest trying them first. They're cheap, and it's a lot easier to put a silicone tip on an Apple Pencil than it is to put on a new screen protector.
