I really liked that there was both GPS and a reasonable price. Too many others are too expensive for what you get. This device takes a bit of getting used to - it doesn't connect immediately and you have to be patient while waiting for the signal. Once you have a signal, it works great. Signal is lost under the trees and path canopy, but catches up after reconnecting. The computer works and once you get used to it you will like it. On the other hand, the application must be under development. It cannot (mostly) download and track your trip details. This is a brand new product and application for Shanren. I bet they got it right in the second generation. Patience.
