After a week of broom use this long handled brush is definitely better than nothing; However, it is classified as a vacuum cleaner only because it is cleaner than when it is not in use. I really like the light as it really shows how much hair there is on the floor but it doesn't even have the suction power for a piece of cat food. I left it charging for 5 hours as instructed and it was quite able to reach high traffic areas before losing power. Imagine using the dust collector on your hands and knees and you get the idea. He maneuvers well enough, but if you think he sucks too, stay on all fours and watch him get all that dust under the bed you never suspected. I like that the power button is right where my thumb is, and I also don't like where the power button is because my thumb keeps turning it off. I emptied it twice in about 10 minutes. Either I lose a lot (yes) or he loses the ability to suck if there's something in the cup (it happens). So I'm giving this device 2 stars: 1 because it's superior to sweeping, and 1 because it's good enough for a quick pass.
