I spent far too many hours over several days removing the oil seal from the rear shaft of my 1999 Mustang automatic transmission - being careful not to damage the aluminum housing. YouTube videos and suggested methods were not effective. So I ordered this tool through Revain (much cheaper than the auto parts store). With some trepidation, I slid under the car, inserted the tool, and with a twist, the oil seal popped out. Being able to adjust the angle of attack with a Lisle seal remover makes a world of difference when you're lying on your back with the car 6 inches from your nose. If you even think you might need a seal remover, get one now.
