Shoddy Construction

Do yourself a favor and don't even think about putting this in your toolbox! The quality is terrible. The biggest problem for me is that the center screw doesn't fit into the threads on the puller body. Someone failed to press 101 and die. I can only get the puller to go in 1 inch and then it stops. The quality of the forging is terrible. The price is overpriced for what you get. Beware.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Inexpensive Chinese jaw puller

The central screw is crooked, the hole in the rocker is drilled and cut crooked. As a result, the arms do not come together at the same length. Pretty important for wearing rumble. Lean back 1/8" to 1/4" where your hands grip the object you want to drag. I did a lot of sanding to get the job done and threw them into the chasm at the bottom of the toolbox. Maybe I'll find an old man from the US at the stock exchange!

  • Noble design
Cons

Heavy Duty Jaw Puller

Works great. He's meaty. The arms are thick and heavy. I used it to pull out a crankshaft sprocket that was seized and it pulled it out without cracking. I used an impact wrench to make it easier. I am very glad that this work was done. I used to use these HF pullers, but I just broke them all with a ratchet. This ProGrade puller didn't even flinch. It's so big that you need quite a bit of space to put it in there.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Empty

Extremely low quality parts

Absolutely, 100% junk. On the very first use the hub barely moved from the knuckle (about 1mm) and then the entire center bolt deformed despite dripping grease, with a 3/8 ratchet and breaker. He also broke a compression ring in his back, so that's another $100 down the drain and a useless machine. I would give this a 0 star rating if possible and am now processing a refund but stay away from this junk as much as possible.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgradable

Removing two stuck rear windows for Honda Accord 2002

Reduced price. Robust, durable metal housing. I was able to easily remove two stuck rear rotors on my 2002 Honda Accord with this tool. Before purchasing this tool, I was hesitant to use a small or large hammer to "hit the rotor" as it would damage the wheel bearing inside. With this tool, each removal took less than 5 minutes. I am satisfied with this tool that was developed for this situation. Please try it, trust me, it's worth every penny (Note: 10" rotor size is perfect)

Excellent for removing large brake drums and discs

This 10" tool is excellent for removing frozen/seized brake drums and discs 12.5" or larger in diameter. I couldn't remove the discs because of the parking brake pads. Yes, I know how to adjust the parking brake gear rotation, but it doesn't work that well on a rusty belt. This will likely remove the pad from the pad, but you can still replace them while everything is removed. I would suggest including some instructions. Assembly wasn't difficult based on the picture on the box, but some may…

  • Excellent design

  • No instructions

4 " Puller - Decent quality, range not specified or compliant

mentioned in the description. I needed this to remove a pressed sealed bearing from the motor shaft. I measured 3.5 inches from the end of the motor shaft to the other side of the bearing. This tool was about half an inch shorter and useless. I wish I had known that before I bought it. I was able to use it on the bearing on the other end of the shaft that was closer to the end and it worked fine but it wasn't really tested.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Requires socket

A little annoying, but served its purpose.

I needed an inexpensive bike crank puller that was completely stripped down and on budget. I took this one and while I'm happy it definitely wouldn't be my first choice if I needed another. This is great in that you can fit two or three claws in the jaw. The downside is that collecting all of these is a chore. It's a pretty obvious setup, but somehow tightening nuts and bolts feels like a three-handed job. Even then, it was tedious to loosen all the parts to fit the movement so that it didn't…

  • Quality workmanship

  • Almost OK

As good as the weakest part

First thanks to Revain for the fast shipping but the product came in a small box opened in a postal envelope and details were loose. . There were no instructions so I assembled the puller using the picture on the box. I had to pull two lawnmower wheel hubs. On both hubs I drilled a small indentation at the end of the axle to allow the jackscrew to be a tight fit as the end is convex and goes in with no indentation. The first hub was the one I took off a year ago and it had a lot of play on the…
